The Cosiest Shibari Social in Wales!
Every 5th of the month, The Nest opens its doors to our beloved community of local rope nerds to tie, socialise and cuddle.
Our Cwtch and Coil events are designed to sit somewhere between a peer rope group, and a full play party. The focus is on using our skills rather than learning them, but the vibe is more open and cosier than a full play party.
The event is open to all identities and sexualities. There will be a safety monitor at each event, and numbers are limited to a group of 10.
Tickets include an initial vetting fee for newcomers. If you have previously attended a Nest event please email for a discount code.
Timings
Weekend Cwtches 5pm-8pm
Weekday Cwtches 6.30pm-9.30pm
We encourage everyone to be mindful of their scenes, and make sure you allow for sufficient aftercare before the event ends.
What to bring
Rope: We have rope at The Nest, of various materials and lengths, but we highly recommend bringing your own if you have it.
You do not need to bring mats, as there is plenty of carpeted floorspace, but if you would like to use one, you are welcome to bring one.
Please travel light, as storage space is very limited.
Outfits
Whether you wish to dress sexy or comfy is up to you. Top half nudity is allowed, but we suggest staggering it as things heat up. Genitals must remain covered.
There is a small WC to change in, but no shower on site.
Event Rules - by attending this event you agree to adhere to the following rules:
Respect and Consent:
Consent means giving clear, voluntary, and informed permission for something to happen. It must be freely given without pressure, manipulation, or fear. Consent can be revoked at any time, by anyone. Please regularly check in with your play partners, and appreciate that playing at an event can change someone's limits and feelings around various activities.
Noise:
Whilst every precaution has been taken to soundproof the studio, it is a shared building, so please refrain from excessive screaming or shouting.
Gags are available for non-complaint bunnies.
Discretion:
What happens in The Nest, stays in The Nest. Therefore, we ask you not to speak or mention the event, shibari or kink dynamics outside the venue, and to cover any fabulous outfits with a coat till inside.
Safety:
You are responsible for your own safety. If something doesn't feel right, if it hurts, if you are cold, tingling, positioned too close to a flame etc, speak up. Our safety monitor will be keeping a weather eye out for safety and will step in if we feel there is risk of harm, but it is always better to advocate for yourself than to rely on others.
Recording:
Videos and photos are permitted with explicit permission from anyone featured. Always ask before taking your camera out. Any recordings or photos being posted online must be removed promptly if permission is withdrawn from anyone featured. Please be mindful of mirror reflections featuring people in the background.
Shoes:
Outdoor shoes must be left in the porch area, but feel free to bring slippers or clean indoor shoes if you prefer not to be barefoot.
What’s allowed?
